Hello, since Jan 2021, I have been a PhD student in the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering (MechSE) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) being advised by Prof. Prashant Mehta. My research focusses on constructing sampling-based algorithms for stochastic optimal control and reinforcement learning using interacting particle systems.
In the summer of 2024, I had the invaluable opportunity to work on a practical application of my PhD research during an industrial internship at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories under the guidance of Dr. Mouhacine Benosman and Dr. Saviz Mowlavi. I received my undergraduate degree at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
To see a list of my publications, visit this page . To view my one page resume, which describes my research in detail, see here.
Among other things, I enjoy listening to music (Steven Wilson and Anathema are two of my favourites), and indulge in photography and painting. I am an avid reader as well. I have written (or rather, scribbled) about a few of my experiences here.
